Developed from experts for experts

The topic of maturity degree models and their application for the assessment of business process management gains in importance. The working team "Business Process Excellence" of the BPM-Club found out that existing maturity degree models were not broad enough with regard to the companywide process orientation. Due to that, the working team engaged in the topic and finally developed an own maturity degree model called eden. This model is based on already existing and implemented models of participating organizations as well as the manifold experiences of the participants. The maturity model eden has therefore not been developed by consultants but by users.

Since the 8th of January 2009, the working results of the working team have been given to the newly established association BPM-Maturity Model EDEN e.V.
This association aims at enhancing the model eden and develop an infrastructure to make eden accessible for the market.
